Online Support: Before & After

Most café courses will include an online course to prepare and/or reinforce the topic presented in the café. Following the café you can return to the course for twelve months and review the training content again and again as you master the new approach on the job.

Be sure to let others in your immediate work area know that you are taking an online course before you begin. Post a sign near your work area to alert others that you are “in the classroom learning” so they do not disturb you.

Use the online course frequently following the classroom training to reinforce and strengthen your understanding of the new model. Compare how you performed this behavior recently to the video model. Are you making progress? What can you still work on to master this skill?
